Dear Master,

I hadn´t answered your letter of March 6 because I had already written on the 1st of March with regard top my intention to finish the composition regardless of the “scandalous lack of regard by the public powers that be.” Evidently our letters crossed in the mail.

Finally, the Alpheus Music Corporation of California will send the RAPSODIE to you with the dedication “To my dear friend JEAN-MARIE Londeix.”. (Speaking of that, is the “X” in your name pronounced?)

The RAPSODIE is about 10 minutes in length. I hope that you like it.

With my thanks,

(Signed) Paul CRESTON
